Most impactful memory in Orientation: Visiting Design Village was a meaningful experience, as it allowed me to reconnect with students I had led as a SLO Days Leader. While learning about their projects and catching up on their first-year experience at Cal Poly, I discovered that some had formed lasting friendships within our SLO Days group. Seeing those connections endure was a heartwarming reminder of why I became an orientation leader in the first place. It reassured me that I had played a small but meaningful role in helping them acclimate to Cal Poly, which is something I truly cherish.
