All official Orientation Days registration information — including confirmation and parking information — will be sent directly to the student only.
Join us Virtually over the Summer
Cal Poly Maritime Academy also offers a virtual Parent/Family Orientation program over the summer. It is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Virtual webinar series with various topics and guests are held on Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- July 7, 9, 14, 16, and 30.
- Aug. 4 and 6.
All-Aboard Dinner on Aug. 17
Celebrate with us on the Waterfront. After move-in and the welcome ceremonies, all families and supporters are invited to enjoy a special dinner on the waterfront with their students. It’s a wonderful way to mark the start of their journey!
- The experience: Enjoy live music and waterfront seating.
- The food: Sample from a variety of stations in the Dining Center.
- The connection: Meet and mingle with the faculty and staff who will be educating and supporting your students.
- The cost: $20 per guest.
Families and supporters can register for dinner when their student completes their orientation registration.
