Transfer Student Life Orientation (SLO) Days: August 14, 2017
Join us for transfer Student Life Orientation Days 2017! Check-in begins at 7:00 AM in the UU Plaza.
For schedule, arrival information, and more, download the "Cal Poly Now" app in the Apples and Google stores. Open the app and search for "SLO Days".
What to expect:
A majority of transfer SLO Days will be spent with your college advisors and faculty. On this day, not only will you register for fall classes, you will also be introduced to topics to assist with your transition to Cal Poly, meet your advisors and understand advising at Cal Poly, understand your curriculum, register for classes, introduce you to campus and academic resources, and start making connections with fellow Cal Poly students.

What to bring:
- Cal Poly username & password
- Any issues with the Cal Poly Portal can be referred to ITS at 805-756-7000
- Laptop/tablet with charger
How to sign up
Sign up for Student Life Orientation Days through MyCalPoly Portal. It is located under the Orientation & Events tab (similar to the Money Matters tab).
SLO Days and WOW are mandatory for all new students. If circumstances prevent you from attending any of our session dates, you may request an exception here.
Veteran Students & Veteran Dependents
Check out the Boots to Books session for Veterans and Veteran Dependent students on August 14, 3pm - 5pm in the Veterans Success Center (Bldg. 52, Rm E-4).
If you are interested in attending Transfer SLO Days in August, we encourage you to first discuss this option with your advising center. If decide to attend, you can sign up by calling New Student & Transition Programs at 805-756-2400 to get further directions on how to sign up as a returning/readmitted student.
Transfer Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) (August 14)
EOP transfer students must sign up for the August 14 session. EOP will be hosting a specific session for EOP students; we want to answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
