Get Ready for your SLO Days Session

Get excited for SLO Days 2019! Below we've put together everything you need to know to make your SLO Days experience the best it can be! 

All information on this page pertains to the the custom Q+ enrolled student SLO Days session occurring on August 16-17, 2019.

2019 Quarter  Plus 2-day Summer Schedule At-A-Glance 

(All other SLO Days schedules differ)

 

Day 1

8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Students & Supporters): Quarter Plus, Residence Hall, & SLO Days Check-in at yakʔitʸutʸu 

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Students & Supporters): Lunch at 805 Kitchen (2 free passes per student)
3:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Students & Supporters): SLO Days Programming
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Students): Evening Entertainment and Organized Activities
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Supporters): Supporter Social -  sponsored by Edna Valley Vineyard
 

SLO Days in-session Dinner provided for registered students and supporters.

 

Day 2

7:30 AM - 9:15 AM (Students): Cont'l Breakfast and Regroup with Leader

7:30 AM - 4:35 PM (Students): SLO Days Programming
9:00 AM - 4:35 PM (Supporters): SLO Days Programming
 

Continental Breakfast provided (students only)

SLO Days Meals

All registered SLO Days students and supporters will receive:

  • Day 1 catered dinner
  • Day 2 catered lunch
  • Supporters only: Day 1 light evening refreshments and wine tasting at Supporter Social
  • Students only: Day 2 continental breakfast

For any dietary needs or concerns, please enter at time of your orientation registration or email orientation@calpoly.edu.

Arrival Information & Parking

 

Getting To Campus & Parking

Parking passes are included as part of your SLO Days Registration and Q+ Move-in. Registered students will download their parking pass online in advance of their session, using a code sent in their Cal Poly emails 2 days prior to their registered session. 

 

When arriving to campus, enter on Grand Avenue. From there, follow Orientation/SLO Days signage and Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) direction on where to park. All SLO Days guests attending summer sessions will park in Visitor Parking - Structure 131

Please reference the TAPS website for all road closures and parking impacts.

What to Bring

To Your Session:

  • Laptop/tablet with charger (Day 2 only)
  • Government issued photo ID
  • Cal Poly user name and password
  • Comfortable walking shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses
  • When it becomes available mid-July, make sure to release your directory information to Associated Students, Inc. through the Cal Poly portal, under the Personal Info tab, under the Personal Settings so that you may participate in ASI activities and use ASI managed facilities.
