Get Ready for your SLO Days Session

Get excited for transfer SLO Days 2019! Below we've put together everything you need to know to make your SLO Days experience the best it can be! Remember to pack what you need, know how to get here, and to check in with us once you arrive.

All information on this page pertains to the following two, 1-Day, sessions for Transfer students.

  • August 8, 2019 (1-day only)

    • Various Majors - College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES)
    • All Majors - College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED)
    • Various Majors - College of Liberal Arts (CLA)
    • Various Majors - College of Engineering (CENG)
  • August 9, 2019 (1-day only)

    • All Majors - College of Science and Mathematics (CSM)
    • All Majors - Orfaela College of Business (OCOB)
    • Various Majors - College of Liberal Arts (CLA)

2019 Transfer 1-day Sessions Schedule At-A-Glance 

(Note: Transfer Bridge schedule differs)

For sessions on August 8 and august 9

7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Check-in and Morning Kick-off, Mustang way and UU Plaza

8:00 AM - 1:00 PM: SLO Days Programming and Lunch
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: SLO Days Breakout Sessions
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: SLO Days Programming and Registration Information
3:30 PM - (Students): Advising by College and Major
Lunch provided for all registered guest

  • On campus parking pass (emailed to the registered student 2 days before your session)
  • Cal Poly drawstring backpack (students)

SLO Days programming is designed for students and supporters by current Cal Poly students and campus & community professionals.

SLO Days Meals

All registered students and supporters will receive:

  • Day 1 catered lunch

For any dietary needs or concerns, please enter at time of your orientation registration or email orientation@calpoly.edu.

Arrival Information & Parking

Getting To Campus & Parking

Planning on driving to campus?  SLO Days 2019 parking and information will be available well in advance of summer sessions. Please check back on this website, Cal Poly Now, and your Cal Poly email often for most updated information.

Parking passes are included as part of your SLO Days Registration. Registered students will receive their parking pass in their Cal Poly emails 2 days prior to their session.

What to Bring

  • Cal Poly username & password
    • Any issues with the Cal Poly Portal can be referred to ITS at 805-756-7000
  • Laptop/tablet with charger
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
